When giving my speech this week I did see some areas of opportunities I could have done better. One of the opportunities I noticed I could have done better was use more body language. I did not use much body language when I was presenting my speech. This is one that I must work on to make sure I keep the audience’s attention while I am presenting my speech. This is one that I do not do very often because I have a hard time expressing myself with body language to get my point across. I realize how important body language is in a speech when you are presenting something to someone. They want to see the excitement that you have for what you are presenting and try to match that excitement. Another opportunity I did notice I could work on more is smiling during my speech. I noticed when I went back to listen to my speech I did not smile throughout the whole presentation.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
