Running head: THE NURSE LEADER An Organizational Analysis: The Nurse Leader Throughout this paper we will have the opportunity to explore the leadership style, characteristics and behaviors that make up Clayton Parry as a manager. We will get an in-depth look at managing a high profile law firm and what that entails. Nurse Manager I had the opportunity to shadow Clayton Parry, a pre-litigation attorney at Jim Adler and Associates. Mr. Parry has a doctorate in law, and specializes in personal injury. He is a member of the Texas, New Mexico, and Utah Bar associations and actively works all over the country for his clients. He contributes regularly to his bar associations with publishing cases and offering commentary on active cases. He has worked at Adler and Associates for over a year, however prior to that has worked at multiple law firms over the past 10 years, all in leadership positions. He is personally responsible for a 10-person team comprised of his personal assistant, case managers, packagers, and closers. He is responsible for a caseload of approximately 200 accident victims. As a pre-litigation attorney he is specifically trying to settle his cases outside of court. He works directly with insurance companies for his clients. Mr. Parry is actively involved in his community, he volunteers for pro bono work and tries to give back as much as he can for the Dallas community.
