Assessment 1 Written Assessment You have just been put in charge of a social media project for Penny and Hobo Fashion. The company designs comfortable, fashionable and economical day wear for the 20 to 30 year old demographic. The company wants to raise its profile and increase its customer pool by using social media marketing to maximise customer engagement. 1. Explain how you will determine the preferred audience. In your answer you should include • how you will Identify and review the requirements for product, brand or ganisational engagement I will identify all their main costumers like good companies are selective about their target market and that means they can make it more likely that they can become number one in that market. The first step is to talk to people. This can involve a face-to-face conversation, but you can do it more efficiently through social media. Build connections by using Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, forums and so on to make yourself known and to find out what people are thinking. Develop a profile so people will want to check out your website. When you are researching the idea is not about finding out about who the people are but, rather, about finding out why they buy what they buy. It is better if this research is not conducted by your sales force, especially if they are dealing with current clients as this could be seen as a conflict of interest or the clients might not be as open as they could be. You really want to maximise the insights you might get. So, start with a list of customers and prospects and arrange for someone in your team to contact them to talk to them about why they bought the products or services they purchased.
