Week 1 Post-Information Security Social Engineering….” It Doesn’t Do Much Harm;” Think Again! As I sit in the cubicle at the area Community College surfing the web for some research material, I constantly have people coming around trying to help me. Mind you not, I have several tabs open on the desktop I’m using. As I finally accept help from who I thought to be a smart fellow student, was a helpful soul steadily trying to use my pc to go into areas which should have been unknown to him. Yes, this was the set-up for social engineering. Little did he know, I was going to put him to the test. (Kapersky, 2018) After chatting with this young man, I decided to get up from my pc and go to the printer to retrieve some of the research material he’d helped me locate. Not only was this a bad idea, it got worse when I looked back only to find him scanning through my tabs where I had the infamous Facebook open, Amazon, and Ebay. I even had items in my cart and ready to check-out. Needless
