Emmy Balestrini 11/13/18 The article this week focused on family theories, such as the systems theory and social construction theory. These theories connect family to greater meanings, such as interactions between family members both physically and spiritually. The subparts of the social construction theory include wholeness, interdependence, hierarchy, boundaries/openness, collaboration/feedback, and equifinality. I related my family to the interdependence theory the most. It states that the components of a family are tied together, and what happens to one member affects the others.
