Data analysis homework I am the brand representative of brand A and I am now analyzing the performance of brand A among other four brands, B, C, D, X in 124 stores in two separate markets within 104 weeks to figure out whether our brand had a good performance and how to improve its position. 1. Firstly, I track the sales volume of my brand A through 104 weeks in two markets to know the trend of our sales. Since sales volume is continuous variable, I use Graphics- >Legacy Dialogs->Line. Week 101 97 93 89 85 81 77 73 69 65 61 57 53 49 45 41 37 33 29 25 21 17 13 9 5 1 Mean Units Sold (A) 250 200 150 100 50 0 32 4 Market ID Week From the chart, it can be concluded that market 4 has a larger average sales volume than Market 32 and the sales volume in both markets have a great deviation. At this point, I make an educational guess that this may be affected by the following factors, price, feature, display, competitors or weather. 2. Besides knowing my brand’s performance in both two markets, I need to know the inter- brand performance in these two markets. So I track the market share in both markets and total market of each brand.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
