Discussion AssignmentResearch on the Internet and discuss the following:Mobile Telephones have evolved in a number of ways, from 1G to 4G. Compare them in terms of Standards used and Features. 1stGeneration (1G) is an acronym for the 1st Generation of wireless telephone technology otherwise referred to as mobile telecommunications. These are the analog telecommunications standards that were introduced in 1979. The maximum speed of the 1st Generation was pegged at about 2.4 Kbps. As an analog technology, there was the issue of poor voice quality, low security, and the challenge of dropped calls.2ndGeneration 2G networks were built on digital technology. Unlike the 1G, there was better security over voice as a function of digital encryption, another feature was the inclusion of data services for mobile such as SMS (Short Message Service) i.e plain text-based messages, picture messages and MMS (Multimedia Message Service).
