Name: Charles Negaroge Assignment: Unit 2 Discussion Date Submitted: 01/21/2018 Course: MBA515 The situation at the St. Sixtus monastery with the Trappist monks and their beer business is very particular. Monks been known for their modest means of living and the consideration of another expansion since 1946 of their brewery, is due to the increase of maintenance costs which is not unusual because equipment could be getting a little worn out. This could make it hard to continue producing enough product to maintain their lifestyle might be getting a tight. There are four possible options that the monks are considering on what to do with their brewery and asked for my assistance in researching the pros and cons of each option. They are: 1) maintain the status quo by producing the same product with the same capacity; 2) expand the existing production capacity and maintain the existing product; 3) create custom micro-brews but maintain the same product capacity; and 4) create custom micro-brews and expand production capacity.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
