Other than being interesting, I also think it isimportant to learn about Venus and Mars because they are also very close to spacecraft and theyare the planets that we hear about often.More than Venus, I was very intrigued to learn more about Mars. We often hear aboutMars and due to the fact that there is a lot more information about it than Venus. I actually didnot know Venus was closer to Earth than Mars, Venus being the nearest at time only at 40 millionkilometers away and Mars being 56 million kilometers from Earth. Another reason why learningmore about Mars is so intriguing because in the past there has been controversy surrounding lifeon Mars and if it actually exists.
