Made in America Movement Kathryn Montone University of Maryland, University College June 18 th , 2018 Nouveau Fashions Memo To: Leanne Marshall From: Kathryn Montone Date: June 18, 2018 Re: Made in America label Labels that entail Made in America on products are more than just writing. This label represents patriotism; the joined movement in promoting job opportunities and ensuring high quality products are produced. With the benefits that come from supporting a Made in America label, a company can thrive in employees, products and encouraging a boost in the economy. With policies that are regulated by Federal Trade Commissions, applying this label takes roughly 40 pages to abide from. It is important to understand how products are actually made in America versus if the product was assembled or used from other imported goods from overseas markets. The first step into going through the process is determining what is a qualified claim (Smith, L, 2012). Labels can differ from “Made in USA” to “Made in USA from imported parts” or perhaps “Assembled in the USA”. FTC

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
