Type II Diabetes Juvenile diabetes is also known as type 1 diabetes, but adolescents can also have type 2 diabetes. Most commonly, adolescents who have type 2 diabetes are already overweight or obese as a byproduct of a sedentary lifestyle from a bad nutrition, bad parenting, etc. A proper understanding of type 2 diabetes and they way to combat it in children must consider the definition of the condition, the epidemiology of the condition, the clinical presentation of the condition, its complications, the way that it is diagnosed, and the question that will eventually formulate a research plan to research this question more in depth. Overview First, one has the basics of the condition, and that begins with the definition. Type ii diabetes is a disorder that is characterized by the inability of the body to regulate its insulin levels below the normal amount. There is an excess of insulin that cannot be absorbed.
