Do you know that we, the humans, are using a lot of plastic straws every singleday especially at food stalls and restaurants? What matters the most is the fact thatthese plastic straws cannot be recycled. Even if they can, it will take 200 years for aplastic straw to be decomposed because plastic is a difficult component to be brokendown. Lately, the banning of plastic straws have been a hot topic in many countriesincluding Malaysia. People are getting aware of how products made of plastic can affectthe environment. Banning plastic straws might not stop the pollutions that aresurrounding us now but at least by doing so, we can see the impact in few years ahead.One of the advantages of banning plastic straws is we will become moreenvironmental by decreasing single-use products. This shows how true we are insupporting the environmental policy change.
