Gender roles have been a subject of debate and great controversy for as long as we can remember. We were told that women should do no more but to be a housewife to their husbands and to not amount to much else.Throughout history women have been put down and seemed inferior to their male counterpart. This has been the norm ever since the media was even a thing of fruition. Ever since an early 1900s time where frequent major wars were happening around the world and ideas were so small, we were not open to all the possibilities that can be achieved if we didn’t open our minds. To now, where things are incredibly different. Additionally, I do believe the world and society is slowly heading in a direction where the gap between gender roles is getting a lot smaller! For example, in a film such as the Incredibles 2, run by a big corporation and one of the leaders of media output today, it is step in the right direction for a younger audience to look up to. Disney did a great job of having Mrs.Incredible the main protagonist for the majority of the film

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
