In 1944 President Franklin D. Roosevelt sign the G.I. Bill of Rights. This bill gives service men financial help with higher education after a certain amount of time spent in the military. After FDR signed the bill an estimated 7.8 million World War II veterans enroll in a college or university. This double the college population. The G.I. bill allowed 238,000 veterans to become teachers. This bill is important because since the bill was created is has allowed millions of veterans an opportunity to go further their education. In 1950 Public Law 81-740 granted a federal charter to the FFA and identifies the FFA as a necessary part of vocational agriculture. This law was important because it gave students that were only interested in agriculture to come to school. This event effected the history of educationby allowing a club to become an extracurricular part of a vocational class. It also effected it because attendance of students who work on a farm increased.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
