Pepsi has recently changed their cans to be more slim and sleek . The product is used to show that the new tall , skinny can is better than the old short, bulky one . This changes into comparing the can to the female body . In Pepsi’s “The new skinny can” ad, the creator uses symbolism and pathos , and to sell Pepsi’s new Diet Pepsi Skinny Can. The placement of the can is almost missed because the women in the background takes up most of the advertisement . The light blue colors and bright , bold red lipstick are indications of Pepsi’s logo colors . Other than the blue referring to the to the Pepsi colors, it reminds the audience of calming and chilling refreshment . The calming blue and vibrant red colors pushes it audience to buy the new product seeing that it will remind the audience of a cool , refreshing drink . The artist of the ad decided to use a simple, smooth font with rounded edges . The lightening against the skin and the Pepsi can are the most emphasized throughout the ad .
