Princess Peart GSU 1010 Career Exploration Paper July 15, 2018 Family Lawyer In the fourth grade, I was selected to be in a program The Safety Patrol. This allowed me and the other select group of students learn the importance of responsibility, respectfulness, and putting someone else needs before our own. This small job gave me a practical insight on what having power felt like and how it could affect peoples lives positively and negatively. From that point on I knew I wanted to pursue a career that would help individuals and to inform them of their rights that they have. To be a family lawyer, you must be able to possess the skills of charisma, time management, and negotiating. Patience is key in the profession that I am pursuing. I must be ready to read to an individuals body language to know if my client is holding back anything that they are telling me.
