Abstract The Great Commission begins with, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations.” (Mat. 28:19) When God says “all” He really does mean “all”. The word “nations” comes from the Greek word “ethnos” which means “a race (as of the same habit), that is, a tribe” 2 Therefore, God wants us to reach all tribes. Tribes are groups of people, which today we refer to as “people groups.” In Acts, the commission includes going to “the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) Thus, it is our calling to take the gospel to every people group in the uttermost part of the earth. According to Global Frontier Missions, there are currently “3.15 billion [people who] live in unreached people groups with little or no access to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” 3 Over twenty- five million of those are in Europe’s four-hundred and fifty-three unreached people groups, according to the Joshua Project 4 .
