NETFLIX ANALYSIS 2 Analysis of Netflix Organizational Nature The organizational culture of a company can be classified into four levels namely espoused values, observable artifacts, enacted values, and basic assumptions. Observable artifacts are aspects of the organization that are complicated to understand but easily discerned such as processes and structures that can be visualized. Espoused values are strategies or philosophies that justify organizational goals’ pursuit. Basic assumptions are the hardest to discern. They are values that the employees take for granted to the extent that they become assumptions. Enacted values are those norms and values that are clearly stated and preferred by the company. Watzlawick in his iceberg model, states that at times communication happens below levels of consciousness. As such, communication is continuous and cannot be avoided (Watzlawick, Weakland and Fisch, 2011). He explains this in axioms which, to a considerable
