Social inequality on a micro level, perpetuates the social problem in human trafficking
because there are already individuals who have experienced difficulties while being enslaved.
For instance, the children, victims of trafficking, have shown signs of psychological problems,
PTSD, AIDS/HIV, anxiety, and depression (Stotts & Ramey, 2009). It is affecting individuals and
their freedom in the process of prostitution, exploitation, forced labor and slavery. Social
inequality on a Macro-level, perpetuates the social problem in human trafficking because the
world or the population of traffickers create this system who those in power can very easily
dominate and take full advantage of those enslaved or without power. They are creating this
barrier between the individual being trafficked and life itself. They stop them from being
rewarded and given the opportunity to have the liberty in doing what they please for that cheap
labor, money and or drugs. It’s an organization that wants what they ask for and by all means will
