Juvenile delinquents Usually, when a person hears the word juvenile, he immediately thinks about a young boy or girl, who is learning in a school, having fun with his or her friends, and many more activities. However, a part of these juveniles are prisoners in an adult prison. Putting a young person in a prison might affect its psychology, turn it into a violent person, and costs more. One of the most important disadvantages of adult prison system is the psychological effects on teenagers in these jails. According to CFYG, juvenile prisoners are able to commit suicide 36 times more than a normal teenager (Chura, 20130. Scott (2012) considers that negative influences can affect teenagers more than adults. That is why adult prison system is more harmful for juveniles than adults.
