I-Objective: The purpose of this experiment is to examine the sinusoidal steady-state response of a resonant circuit in the phasor domain. Prelab: The equivalent S-domain & j w domain is: Z R = 1kΩ Z L = jωL = j10 w , R L =38k Z C = -j/ w C Zeq=Z R + Z L + Z C = 1000 +38000+ j10 w –j l/ w C ω o =31.622k ; f =5.035 K HZ R/(2Lω0)=60 II-Procedure: 1- Prepare the data table and build the circuit on the breadboard : a) Prepare a data table composed of 4 columns labeled, frequency, Vin, Vout, and phase angle θ. b) Build the circuit with adjustment of the function generator to produce a 2 Vpp sine wave and 0 DC offset.(We used V pp =1.4V instead of 2V)
2- The Lissajous Pattern :The Lissajous Pattern was used to measure the phase angle between the two sinusoidal curves corresponding toVin and Vout that are of the same frequency.

What students are saying

• As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

Kiran Temple University Fox School of Business ‘17, Course Hero Intern

• I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

Dana University of Pennsylvania ‘17, Course Hero Intern

• The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
