I tried very hard to find another article on “Smart Roads” but no other articles had much to do with the previous article I researched, so, I continued on a search for autonomous cars and found a wealth of new information and articles. While searching through the spectrum website, I found an article that brings up the different levels of autonomy, that also discusses the levels of the past, the level we are at now, and the future of autonomous cars. The article published on February 22 2018 by Evan Ackerman, is entitled Transforming Robotic Steering Wheel Is a Reminder That Your Car Needs You. I found it interesting and intriguing that there a different levels for autonomous cars, as I was unaware of that fact. There are currently 2 levels for autonomous vehicles, a level 2 and a level 4. The article describes Level 2 as “the car drives itself in specific situations but expects you to be paying attention the entire time”. Subsequently a level 4 autonomous car is explained as “They can drive themselves in
