Global Project Management AgileHoya’s strategy to expand it products and services into global markets is critical to the company’s growth. To enable that strategy, the Executive Leadership team approved the proposal to expand development globally. Sites will be setup in London, England; Sao Paula Brazil; Hyperabad, South Africa and Sydney, Australia. This expansion will enable the development team to deliver software solutions faster and with greater efficiency. With this expansion, team members will be in different regions of the world, countries and across different time zones. As such, our “Global project manage rs must have good strategies to coordinate multicultural and virtual teams” (Binder, 2009). Analysis of Cultural Dimensions To assess the cultural dimensions of the team, each project team member was required to complete a 360° analysis. The 360° analysis is a part of AgileHoya’s performance management system; it assessed whether team members reflect the organization's leadership behaviors and promote a healthy organizational culture. The 360° also provided an opportunity for team members to see themselves from another person’s perspective. First, the 360° analysis revealed local lead developers were spending a great deal of time mentoring and providing expert coaching to junior developers; as a result, the Project Sponsor and Expansion Steering Committee made a key decision to place a Project Manager at each site. Secondly, the 360° analysis revealed cultural intelligence training was required. Leadership Model & Staffing Plan The Expansion Steering Committee approved the hiring of development teams in London, England, Brazil, South Africa and Australia. Each site will have a Site Leader, Project Manager, Development Leader and development team. Project challenges will be escalated to the Project Manager. If the Project Manager is unable to resolve the challenge, the issue will be escalated to the Expansion Steering Committee. Personnel challenges will be escalated to the Site Leader. All local leaders will be required to participate in AgileHoya’s ENRICH training for managers. ENRICH is a leadership development program specifically designed for new or early- tenure people managers. Based on the Leadership Expectations, this program will help build core manager skills needed to most effectively lead others and excel in leadership roles. ENRICH will build awareness of global trends, customer changes, and their impact on c AgileHoya managers. The ENRICH program will also motivate leaders to create a diverse and inclusive environment for their teams, apply key principles for proactively building global and cross functional relationships and networks in the matrix, improve the quality of managerial

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
