Unformatted text preview: PROFESSIONAL PRESENCE AND INFLUENCE 6 A. Evaluate how the preferences identified by the test align with your relationships, favorite activities, and career choices. The preferences identified in this test align with my lifestyle in many ways. Kiersey.com states, “Guardians can have a lot of fun with their friends, but they are quite serious about their duties and responsibilities. Guardians take pride in being dependable and trustworthy; if there's a job to be done, they can be counted on to put their shoulder to the wheel.” (Keirsey, n.d.). This statement very closely suits my personality. I enjoy spending time with friends and relationships with friends and family members are very important to me. As a nurse, I recognize the importance of “putting my shoulder to the wheel” and always doing a job that I am proud of. Trustworthiness is also extremely important to me. I feel that it is necessary for people to have trust in me, as well as my need to feel trust in relationships with others. This goes along with having teamwork in the job setting (Keirsey, n.d.). The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
