OPERATIONS COMMITTEE City of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin 53916 Meeting Minutes of November 19, 2018 The Operations Committee meeting, held in Room 113 at the Municipal Building, 205 S. Lincoln Avenue, was called to order at 7:00 by Chairperson Cris Olson. Other Board /Commission /Committee members present: Alderpersons Robert Ballweg, Mick Fischer, Jon Abfall, Dan Doyle, Jane Loizzo, and Therese Henriksen. Also present for all or part of the meeting: Mayor Rebecca Glewen, City Attorney Maryann Schacht, Director of Utilities Rob Minnema, Public Works Supervisor Dan Mulhern, Alderperson Mary Morgan, Jack and Linda Yuds, Craig Warmbold of Good Karma Broadcasting, Cris Higgins of Beaver Dam Daily Citizen and Director of Facilities & Engineering Ritchie Piltz. 1.) Approval of the November 5, 2018 Operations Committee Minutes: A Motion was made by Henriksen , seconded by Doyle and unanimously carried approving the minutes of the November 5, 2018 Operations Committee meeting. 2.) Review of current invoices: Hearing no questions, the current invoices were forwarded to the Common Council. 3.) Oak Point Development: Director of Facilities and Engineering Ritchie Piltz stated that $181,600 was placed in escrow to cover the construction costs of certain improvements that are to be dedicated to the public. Piltz explained that the escrow is not needed as the City has the ability to assess the developer for the cost of those improvements or choose not to construction certain improvements if deemed not necessary. Also, final occupancy permits will not be issued until the public street and driveways are paved.
