How liberalism became kryptonite for superman 1. I think the idea of the author essay is to reflect superman character ( as he is honest, leader, protectful, He is a superhero.) He is basically want to improve that America isn’t as strong as it looks like. 2. Moral relativism is “ Truth,justice and the American way'—it's not enough any more.” with the rise of it is has lost the meaning of “ truth, justice and the American way.” Political correctness is pointing to the complexity of superman caught between national and global allegiances. This shows how Dixon and Rivoche call for a resurrection of the old comic code authority, the industry effort to avoid government censorship through self monitoring and a strangle hold on creativity. 3. The author focused their criticism of modern comics on superman, to show the old fashion of superman telling us that he is a super American hero. Also that he is made by America. His behaviors showed us he was a good example of America. But the new version of superman which is the 1990’s changed the idea
