Women are not acknowledged to involve in terror attacks. People would question if a woman is involved in a terrorist threat. On the recent incidents, the women’s assumption is challenged since most women especially the Islamic women involved in terror attacks such as suicide bombers and firearms attacks. The underlying assumption is that men influence female to involve in terrorism. Basically, people need to work on past gender stereotypes to examine motivation conditions and psyches of women towards terrorism. Several scholars have carried an examination of the roles played by women in terrorism. These roles help in establishing of strategies of curbing the women threat as far as terrorism is concerned. Roles of Women on Terrorism The roles of women in terrorism have immensely changed over the ages. Instead of performing minor roles like recruitment and logistics, women have now taken leadership roles.
