Y. Bruice Recommended "Solutions Manual and Study Guide", 8th edition by P. Y. Bruice Gauchospace: Here you will find the syllabus, the handouts for the PowerPoint lectures, example exams and the answer key to the midterms. Additional Help: Please do not hesitate to come see me during office hours. Campus Learning Assistance Services (CLAS). I highly recommend participation in CLAS. They offer help in specific classes as well as general help in learning how to study more effectively. Homework: Required (7% of final grade): We will use Pearson Mastering Chemistry Program for homework. The course name is Chem 109B F17 Read and ID MCREAD70885 must be accessed from . To earn the full 7% you must have at least 2/3 of the potential Pearson Mastering points. ! More practice homework assignments are also listed in the syllabus. I have selected a few select problems but you are encouraged to do ALL the chapter problems but they are not to be turned in. ! The answers to all homework problems are in the Solutions Manual. ! There are practice tests at the end of each chapter in the Solutions Manual that might be helpful. The answers are in the back of the Solutions Manual.
