We affirm the following contention, : United States public K-12 schools should be allowed to regulate students' off-campus electronic speech. Democracy is free reuisite to speech This round should value the lives and the health of students over anything else. This should be the framework because the obligation of schools is to protect the lives and wellbeing of students, and deliver them prepared into the real world. If schools have the ability to prevent setbacks, including mental health issues or even death, in a student’s life, they should be allowed to act on those abilities as it will leave them best prepared for the real world and protect their well being. Therefore the only framework that makes sense for this debate is one that compares lives saved and the wellbeing students in the pro and con world. Contention 1: Cyberbullying - students bullying online Claim: It’s the school’s duty to provide a safe environment for children to learn in; therefore, they should prevent cyberbullying as much as possible through regulating electronic speech. By regulating electronic speech, cyberbullying would be reduced. Warrant A study by Justin W. Patchin shows about 18.8% of middle and high school students have been cyber bullied in 2007, and 34% in 2015. District of columbia 2. Mississippi 3. Florida 4. North Carolina 5. New Mexico These five states have various cyber bullying laws in place allowing schools to regulate electronic speech. Out of these top five areas with the lowest bullying rates, three of

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
