WK12_DQ1: Life Insurance/Fundamentals of Investing 2 Many people don’t like to talk about life insurance and say it’s too early for them to start talking about it. However, that may not be true. Whether a person is healthy or not they should purchase a life insurance, but many people seem to lean more towards the myths that’s being spread about it. Carter (2014) mentions a couple of those myths: 1) many people think that their employer-provide life insurance is enough for them and it’s all they need. That is no true, even though the employer provides good insurance life policy, your policy may end when you leave that job. You may be able to convert your optional insurance to an individual policy or purchase one on your own but either way, it may be much more expensive than purchasing a policy today, especially if your health deteriorates. 2) life insurance is expensive: that may be true depending
