Baghla, A (2018) has tried to find out the attitude of people towards adoption of digital payments and problems faced by them in making digital transfers and also analyzed the most popular method of digital payments. For this, he has used both Primary and Secondary Data. As per the analysis it was found that people prefer using Paytm app over others and most people feels the digital payment a safer option. As per the research, it will take enough time in India to become a completely cashless economy. The govt as well the private companies are trying their level best to make digitalization of payment more accessible. The biggest challenge for now in front of government is the lack of knowledge and awareness among people and fear of loss of money by use of digital payment methods risk of hacking. Sujith, T. S., & Julie, C. D. (2017) has done these studies during the time of demonetization, when the e-payment came mostly in use. This study aimed to identify the issues and challenges of electronic payment systems and study the different mode of e-payments. The research mainly focused on requirements, transaction process and the limitations in different modes of e-payments. As per research, In 2015-16, a total of Rs. 4018 billion transacted through mobile banking as compared to Rs. 60 billion in 2012-13. They also analyzed the risk in the online payments such as theft of payments data, personal data and fraudulent rejection on the part of customers. Varsha, R., & Thulasiram, M. (2016) has primarily tried to find out the level of extent of acceptance of the technological innovation as a mode for settling bills and making payments. The study also examined the influence of various demographic factors on this consumer behavior. Stratified random sampling was used to arrive at the sample for the study. Chi square, Correlation tools have been used to analyze the data obtained. The research also found that for a successful future, e-wallet service providers need to strategize targeting not only at students and the youth, but also other age groups.
