Questionnaire #7 –  Chelsea Girls  by Eileen Myles      Due Saturday March 16 by midnight 1. How does  Chelsea Girls  construct an alternative lineage or canon of queer and women  artists for the narrator to organize themselves around? Name some of the most  important figures that Myles interacts with in the novel and describe their importance to them . Eileen Myles created  Chelsea Girls  to tell their life story: a raw, uncensored story of their  life and the experiences they encountered throughout their time in New York and their  childhood .   Chelsea Girls  offers an alternative lineage for queer and women artists as it  maneuvers through stories of uncomfortable heterosexual experiences and more  normalized homosexual experiences .  Throughout the memoir, the reader begins to  understand Eileen’s progression of finding herself, as well as relating to others who may feel unsure of who they are .

"Before using Course Hero my grade was at 78%. By the end of the semester my grade was at 90%. I could not have done it without all the class material I found."

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
