Bailey Piatt English 3 H Period 4 11/12/18 Hamlet Essay Questions Q: The Tragedy of Hamlet is largely about revenge and its consequences. Explain why the play must end as it does A: The play ended how it did to convey the message that everything you do in life has consequences or an impact. In the beginning of the play where Hamlet wants to avenge his father after finding out how he died, he realizes that if he does, there will be repercussions. Hamlet and religion played a big part of the tragedy and dictated him on how he acted. In the tragedy, we see Hamlet debating to kill Polonius as he is in a confession. He sees the wide open opportunity to kill the person who killed his father but, he realizes that he is confessing his sins to God, worrying if he kills him, his soul will go to Heaven and his will burn in Hell, Now might I do it pat, now he is praying, and now I'll do 't,[ he draws his sword] and so he goes to heaven, and so
