2 Drafting Employee Handbook Policies Prevention of sexual harassment and discrimination It is unfortunate, but “Sexual harassment still remains an all-too frequent reality in the workplace”, (Jones, 2016). If high profile people are resistant to share the details of their claims, consider how many are too insecure to do so in the companies we frequent. Sexual harassment is simply any uninvited behavior of a sexual nature that offends, humiliates and/or intimidates someone, (Jones, 2016). “It includes” conditions “where a person is” invited to “engage in sexual activity as a condition of that person’s employment”. (Jones, 2016) Also, environments that’s hostile, intimidating, or humiliating for the recipient. Such as below: “Jokes”. “Sexual advances”. “Repeated and unwanted social invitations for dates or physical intimacy”. “Insults based on the sex of the worker”. Solar Co. Inc. “will look to” prevent, correct and control “conduct that” disregards “this strategy”. Solar Co. Inc. strives “to make and keep up a workplace in which individuals are treated with” poise, goodness “and regard.” (Abelson, D. E. 2018). “Through implementation of this” approach “and by training of workers, advantages or benefits; to make biased work conditions; or to utilize” oppressive “evaluative” guidelines “in business if the premise of that” prejudicial “treatment is, in entire or to some” extent, “the individual's race, shading, national” birthplace, “age, religion”, incapacity “status, sex, sexual introduction, sex personality, hereditary data or conjugal status”.
