Surname 1 Student’s Name Professor’s Name Course Date The Federal Government between 1865 and 1939 Between 1865 and 1939, Americans experienced civil wars. The end of the war brought a new era of economy, political control, and presidential intervention. The economy changed from agriculture to a flourishing big business dominated world. The citizens felt that the president wanted to promote the growth of industries. The war affected many Americans because it led to the decline of individual economic opportunities. Between 1865 and 1939, most Americans supported big business dominance and rejected all forms of government interference and regulation. They believed that the federal government was planning to discourage individual investments by imposing regulations. Most presidents who ruled during this period had large political influences on the country (Furner 18). Individual thinkers believed that social, economic and political organization ought to be put to an end. As such, their role in federal government changed, and they started exerting pressure to the administration to modify its leadership.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
