For one to be an effectiveleader, they must have useful skills that motivate their followers. Specifically, the best leaders aredefined by how they communicate with others. Achieving good relations with subordinatesrequires one to be able to identify and learn from their weaknesses. Improving one's leadershipskills starts from the individual's desire to be a good ruler. Understanding that they are notalways right is the critical skill that helps one become a successful leader.Part 1: Working StylesThe choice of a working style depends on the type of product one handle and how smooththey can run their area of interests. There are various working styles that people may adopt.Pioneers emphasize possibilities and ignite power of imagination (Dahling & Librizzi, 2015).The other style is employed by guardians and includes bringing rigor and order in addition tovaluing stability. Integrators unite teams and cherish connections. Lastly, drivers producemomentum and treasure challenges in a place of work. Workers usually feel motivated when theysee their leader being more focused on obtaining a specific goal rather than relaxing.Other working styles that improve one’s outcomes include having a positive attitude.One must always have the right attitude towards accomplishing their tasks. Through the workingstyle score, I realized that I am optimistic and committed towards the accomplishment of the setgoal. However, I could not negotiate with someone after they made a mistake, even if it was forthe first time. Instead, I opted to punish someone immediately. I realized that I should have used
another approach which would correct the person and help them retain a positive attitude towork.A leader should also be driven and motivated in in conducting tasks and monitoring thework of others. Whichever way one chooses to fulfill a specific duty, there has to be adetermination to accomplish the objective.
