SECTION 1 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Borneo Hornbills Enterprise is a start-up factory, establishment located in Demak Laut Industrial Park, Kuching, Sarawak. Borneo Hornbills expects to supply instant Borneo made cuisine in powder form. One of the company`s first product is Sup Ponas which are made from tapioca or cassava with lemongrass, garlic, shrimp paste and our special ingredient, fermented durian which has catch the interest of local customer based in Sarawak. Before this, our Sup Ponas was in a frozen paste form which is not long lasting if not stored properly. Borneo Hornbills decided to take our favourite soup to another level which is to make them into a powder formed products, which would make it easier to storage, prepare and with longer expiry date. In addition, the idea for producing the powder form of Sup Ponas was from the need to make it easier to be prepared and would still make it feel like home when the customer wants to carry it around when travel. Extensive experience in food production along with a professional management team has now allowed the company to venture into the market. Borneo Hornbills Enterprise is aiming to be the household name in the food industry of the Borneo culture in Malaysia the near future. With this product field, our company will have bright future as food business because they had great potential and the sustainable of the product along with the customer needs. With the potential our executive had in Borneo Hornbills Enterprise that can make out product being well-known in food and beverages in Malaysia. Borneo Hornbills Enterprise executive have unmatchable skills and knowledge of the industry and able to handle with every kind of problems and able to plan ahead depending on market trends and demands. Borneo Hornbills Enterprise also targets for all citizens from all walks of lives who are interested in trying new foods and culture. We also planned to further increase our production to meet the demand of target market which is the ASEAN countries representing the Malaysian culture the countries with the most buying power in the world. 2.0 INTRODUCTION 2.1 COMPANY BACKGROUND Borneo Hornbills Enterprise is established on 15 of September 2015. Company’s registration number MA0166644-M, located at Lorong Demak Laut 3a2, Demak Laut Industrial Park, 93050, Kuching, Sarawak. This company carry out and registered business under food and beverage section. Borneo Hornbills Enterprise specializes in the production of Borneo’s culinary especially Sup Ponas. The General Manager of this company is Syahmie Shaffiq Soffian bin Salim who graduated in Master of Business Administration. Our company has been dedicating itself to developing and popularization of Borneo’s products since its establishment.
