Assigned Reading # 10 Ritchie Knox The Three Rules of Love and Logic by William Price Love and logic focuses on creative ways to deal with the variety of behaviors you’ll encounter while teaching. The author mentions an experience in which he studied the psychology of behavior in a way that was new. The over-whelming conclusion was that people learn from their own decisions. Another main focuse of the chapter is to accept who you are as a teacher, what you’re doing isn’t wrong. However the author does want the teacher to understand that everyone’s craft can be sharpened. There are four basic principles of love and logic, they are share the control, share the thinking, balance consequences with empathy and maintain self- concept.
