The fall time decreased slightly as the fall height got smaller. The mean time was 0.543917s for 150 cm high and 0.391883s for 75 cm high. Greater distance equals greater fall time because there is more air resistance on an object that falls a longer height. It will take the object falling from a higher height longer to reach the ground since they are falling with the same velocity with the force of gravity acting on it in free fall, it will take the object higher up longer to reach the ground. 2.Why did we plot the drop distance versus ∆t2rather than ∆t?
