2. At year 26, the asymptotic growth rate and stable age distribution is reached. The lambda values are all within the same 3 decimal places after that year. 3. The lambda value at year 26 is 0.951. 4. TEDs positively influenced the population of Loggerhead sea turtles as it is shown that as time goes on their population numbers went from low to a gradual increase for all age classes. The larger turtles increased their population numbers more than the smaller turtles since the TEDs are meant to keep large turtles from getting trapped. When compared to figure 5, that turtle population increased in a short time at first but then there was a steady decline for all age classes. The lambda for the population positively affected by TEDs at stable population was 1.03. Figure 7.
