Throughout human history there have been many major conflicts. Ranging from Asian
dynasties to fighting terrorism, and between it all two wars that involved major governmental
parties. World War I, or The Great War, or war to end all wars, was on conflict and World War II
was the other conflict. Both world wars have their similarities and differences. They both have
their impacts to history. This essay will focus on comparing both World War I and World War II.
Every conflict has a beginning; a spark, if you will. Each beginning can be the same but
different at the same time. The fist note to take for the beginning is when it happened. World War
I began on June 28, 1914. World War II began on September 3, 1939. These two wars are twenty-
five years apart. The next note to take about the beginning is how it happened. The event that
triggered and sparked World War I was the assassination if Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria.
