Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol "EIGRP" At start up At convergence At Change 1. Hello packets are sent on Multicast 224.0.0.10 to all directly connected devices and all of them must operate on EIGRP 2. Hellos => Neighboring Table => each router sends its Routing tale => Topology table => using DUAL to determine Successor and Feasible Successor => Routing table It is called Steady state "Just after configurations" At this state every router checks that the other routers are still connecting together or not by sending hello packets to act as "Keep alive" BW > 1.54 Mbps BW < 1.54 Mbps Fast interface One hello every 5 seconds Slow interface One hello every 60 seconds 1. If a new network appears: Partial triggered updates are sent to all neighboring routers with delay (2 seconds per 20 successive routers). 2. If cable failed and there is F.S : The F.S becomes successor and the Routing tables are changed. 3. If cable failed and there is no F.S : Query message is sent on 224.0.0.10. Configurations (config)#router eigrp ASN (config)#network ______ (config)#network ______ (config)# no auto-summary //cancelling auto summarization (config)#variance // non equal load sharing #show ip eigrp neighbors #show ip eigrp topology #show ip route

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
