Close international supplier relationships help in organizing schedules for adjustments as needed to facilitate just in time inventory resulting in minimal inventory stocking costs. To manage the turnaround of containers, products need to be insured, tracked and released by customs prior to arrival at the warehouse. Several factors influence the stringent management and movement of products to and from the warehouse including, shelf life, expiries, high and low demand. These factors determine where items are placed in the warehouse, whereby items with near expiries or short shelf lives are easily retrieved, while items with longer shelf lives are stored in further locations. All aspects of Company D’s data are required to be evaluated through analytical and performance reports in keeping with current supply and demand trends of the island. POTENTIAL REQUIREMENTS o Company D seeks to manage and schedule imports based on seasonality of products, consumer demands and market data through sales and distribution teams’ feedback achievable through the implementing an International Trade Logistics programme. o Meet changing demands of the island’s consumers by keeping abreast of current market trends and procure products accordingly can be accomplished by Demand Management .

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
