Internal Environment Report: Prince George’s County Police DepartmentThis strategic management report on the Prince George’s Police Department will analyze the internal factors of the agency that have implications on the successful implementation of the organization’s mission, values, vision, goals, and objectives by using a SWOT analysis of the organization. It will focus on the organization’s core competencies to include which ones are rare, costly, or not easily imitated. This report will also present a summary of the organization’s strengths and weaknesses and provide a Resource-Based View (RBV) of the organization to help identify its tangible and intangible resources that will assist in accomplishing this strategy. Finally, this report will discuss the factors that make the Prince George’s County Police Department’s resources and capabilities difficult for other law enforcement agencies to imitate by using a Value Chain Analysis. The following are the mission, vision and value statements for the Prince George’s County Police Department.
