Luckily as a nurse in an education level of 1 trauma center, evidence-based-practice is a key part of the education and medical provision of care. Resident physicians often have the most up-to-date information with new strategies and most current data proven strategies. For instance, supraventricular tachycardia patients have more than once been treated with the modified Valsalva maneuver which has recently been discussed in modern podcasts. Additionally, as a learning hospital, new nurses hired on are placed in a residency program based in the hospital which seeks to improve staff knowledge, participation, and continued changes throughout the medical facility. An up-front approach with a clearly stated problem statement is of immense value in communicating a study’s context [Pol12]. Continued research, researching best evidence practices, and formulating their own studies seeks to invoke change in a scientific and proven manner.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
