Summary of Article This article contained a systematic review of publications regarding the evaluation and clinical examination of pulmonary hypertension (PH) utilizing multiple databases. Over 31 articles were utilized within the research study in order to determine whether or not there was a physical exam sign that could be most associated with pulmonary hypertension. Statistical Tests and Analysis From the literature selection of the two databases, over 1,036 citations were found on the topic regarding PH. Eliminating the duplicates and articles not regarding the specific project of the research study, only 31 studies identified the physical exam of the patient with pulmonary hypertension. Within the 31 studies, 49 patients were drawn out and were able to have the research examination conducted upon them. Here, after a series of blood work, EKG, chest radiograph and physical examination, researchers conducted that individuals with PH have an increase sound at S2 (Colman, Whittingham, Tomlinson & Granton, 2014).

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
