Write a brief report to the the President of the car maker NIO, describing how the RUP can be used at Design division.IBM's Rational Unified Process is a software engineering process that employs a rigorousapproach to assigning tasks and responsibilities to development organizations. The main objective of this process is to ensure that high-quality software is produced that meets customer expectations, schedule and budget.Design stage is the key link of product production. One of the biggest problems in business engineering efforts is the lack of communication between software engineering and business engineering communities. This leads to inconsistencies in the final product because neither team maximizes productivity and efficiency. To address this problem, IBM's model suggests using a common language and process for both communities to reduce gaps and inconsistencies. RUP also improves team productivity by providing easy access to the knowledgebase for each team member, which contains guidelines, templates, and tool guides for all key development activities. Doing so will ensure that all team members have the same ideas, vision and goals for the project. In summary, RUP describes effective business validation methods for software development teams and projects. It improves the quality, productivity and efficiency ofthe work. It does not focus on the production process, but on the design and development of models. It also bridges the gap between teams working on projects.2.
