HOME AUTOMATION NETWORKS 3Improving Quality for Home Automation Networks Using Wireless CommunicationTechnologiesIntroduction The underlying aim of Internet of Things is making diverse small gadgets that can communicate effectively for collecting and exchanging data and information over the internet. The primary goal of Internet of Things is increasing and enhancing a person’s daily life quality. Here are various domains covered by IoT such as consumer, industrial, smart environment (plant, office, and city), healthcare, and logistics and transportation (Mandula et al. 2015). Another domain where IoT works well is the smart homes, which covers two major components: smart energy and home automation. For instance under home automation domain, he thermostat of a room having inbuilt temperature sensors can transmit info to the system of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) via the ZigBee for adjusting the temperature (Pavithra, and Balakrishnan, 2015). Smart home automation provides owners with enhanced security, convenient, comfort and energy efficiency. Home automations allows to control smart devices such as lights, fans, AC, real-time cameras, managing entrance gate and other smart home appliances using a smart home app from their smartphones. With IoT, these devices can operate as a single application or as integrated solutions by sharing consumer usage data and automating actions based on owner's preference. Home automation is making the lives simple by providing safety and security to all the homes by employing Wi-Fi technology (Kodali et al. 2016). The demand for wireless technology has enabled many home automation systems to work efficiently and save lots of power. Most popular wireless technologies include Bluetooth, WI-Fi, Z-wave, Zigbee, X10 and Insteon. Many automated devices are available for modern homes to protect them and prevent unknown people's illegal entry. Heating timers, security alarm, security cameras, motion sensors, and a lot of other equipment are used to keep your home secure. These are all equipment of a home control system that helps to protect your home from burglars. These are small devices that react and send notification if any unusual activity occurs. Home automation system consists of various devices that can keep your home secure (Kodali et al. 2016).Security - Security alarms, motion sensors, surveillance cameras, and a lot more devices are used to keep your homes safe. If any unusual activity is observed, the system sends
