Procedure: 1. Measure gear width. 2. Measure bore diameter of one of the gear chambers for the gear pump. 3. Measure the distance across both gear chambers. 4. Calculate GPM of the gear pump: [email protected]= 47W(2D-L)(L-D)/2. 5. Calculate CIR for the gear motor: CIR Displacement = 6W(2D-L)(L-D)/2. 6. For the Vane Pump, measure the width of the rotor. 7. Measure the shortest distance across the bore. 8. Measure the longest distance across the bore. 9. Calculate GPM for the vane pump: [email protected]=94W(L+D)/4*(L-D)/2. 10. Calculate CIR for the vane pump: CIR displacement=12W(L+D)/4*(L-D)/2 11. For the piston pump, find the piston area from the piston diameter. 12. Measure the length of stroke. 13.
