(i) I do believe that sharecropping is an inefficient form of tenancy in agriculture. Since the sharecropper does not actually own the land, he is hindered from getting full production of his current crops. He must give the landowner a portion of the production which is stated in the contract determined by the landowner. In the case of landowner, he also does not receive full portion of the crops and is not using his entire portion of his land to his own benefit. I would say that it is fairer for him because they are able to get all the produce, they want for a minimum amount of the work compared to the sharecropper who is working on the land and not even
